What walkers say
If you’re visiting Belfast, do yourself a favour and book this audio tour before you step foot inside the Titanic museum. This isn’t just a walk from A to B; it’s a proper introduction to the city itself.

The biggest perk for us was the starting point at Belfast City Hall. It’s right in the centre of the city, so we didn’t have to mess around with taxis or unfamiliar bus routes. We just hopped off our bus, opened the app, and we were off. The tour does a fantastic job of weaving the history of Belfast into the journey, so by the time you actually reach the docks, you really understand the context of the city that built the ship. We loved the flexibility. We were able to pause the app whenever we wanted—we stopped for a drink at one of the famous pubs along the route, took our time, and then picked up right where we left off. The GPS worked perfectly, and the narration kept us engaged without feeling like a history lecture. The tour culminates perfectly at the gates of the Titanic Belfast building. Arriving on foot, having traced the city's path to the shipyard, made the museum visit feel so much more immersive. If you are heading to the Titanic Experience, this audio guide is an absolute must-do to set the scene. Highly recommended.
A little history. A lot of Belfast.
The stories behind the streets
This self-guided Maritime Mile audio tour leads from Belfast city centre to Titanic Belfast, turning the walk into an introduction to the city’s shipbuilding heritage. The route starts outside Visit Belfast, opposite City Hall, before crossing the River Lagan and following the waterfront into the Titanic Quarter.
Along the way, Lucie connects Belfast’s grand buildings and old entries with the workers, shipyards and engineering skill behind its maritime history. By the time you reach Titanic Belfast, you will have a clearer picture of the city and people that built the world’s most famous ship.
